Elimination Communication Cowboy Pants made from Merino Interlock
Elimination Communication without undressing.
Lightweight EC pants made from thin merino interlock – ideal for spring and summer and perfectly combinable with our jacquard nappies.
At a glance
• EC opening for easy elimination communication in everyday life
• Thin, yet robust merino interlock
• Perfectly combinable with jacquard EC nappies
• Can be worn under crawler or baby-size nappies
• Can also be used alone or with an insert
• Suitable for spring & summer
Thoughtfully designed for everyday elimination communication
These cowboy pants were developed to make elimination communication uncomplicated.
No complete undressing. No unnecessary changing. One quick motion is enough – and your child can relieve themselves.
The integrated opening allows for discreet, quick EC – at home and on the go.
At the same time, your child stays warm and dressed. Especially in transitional situations, this makes a real difference.
The special feature: Lightweight interlock
The merino interlock used here is deliberately thinner than classic winter qualities.
This makes these pants:
-
airier
-
more comfortable in warmer temperatures
-
ideal for spring and summer
-
yet dimensionally stable and durable
A real innovation – especially in combination with our merino jacquard nappies in the same colour range.
This creates a harmonious, functional set instead of individual pieces.
Three wearing options – maximum flexibility
Under an EC nappy (crawler or baby size)
EC becomes easier than changing. The pants stay on, your child stays protected.
Without a nappy
Ideal for the development of independent elimination. Even if your child can't pull down their pants yet, they can easily use the potty.
With a nappy insert in the opening
Practical minimal backup against small puddles or for babies who are still lying down.
Material & Quality
100% organic merino wool (mulesing-free) GOTS certified
Thin interlock knit – temperature-regulating, breathable and soft
If the pants get wet, simply let them dry and put them back on.
Merino wool naturally regulates moisture and odours.
Handmade
For families who…
-
want to make elimination communication a part of everyday life
-
want to change fewer nappies and be more present
-
prefer natural materials
-
rely on durable, repairable clothing
Material
The raw wool for this product comes from Argentina, is GOTS-certified, and mulesing-free. It is knitted in our knitting mill on the Swabian Jura, not far from Lake Constance – regionally, fairly, and with great care.
This product was manufactured in our also GOTS-certified sewing factory in Hungary.
Washing instructions
- Wool detergent
- Hand wash or wool cycle up to 30 °C
- Spin at max. 800 rpm
- Do not tumble dry
Wool is naturally self-cleaning and antibacterial. It does not need to be washed immediately after contact with urine or breast milk stool. Simply let it dry, brush it off, air it out, and only wash it when that is no longer sufficient.
Care & Longevity
Wool is a natural material with exceptional properties: it is temperature-regulating, self-cleaning, hardly absorbs odors, and needs to be washed much less frequently than other materials. Often, simply airing it out or gently brushing it is enough – which not only saves time but also resources.
Despite its robustness, wool is not indestructible. The wear and tear largely depends on how intensively a garment is used. If the same pair of trousers is worn daily, it will naturally show signs of wear faster than if several wool trousers are rotated.
Our recommendation: For everyday wear, 3 pairs of wool trousers in rotation are ideal. This maintains their function and ensures the trousers accompany you sustainably through many adventures.
