Are you expecting your first child and have been considering giving up conventional disposable diapers?
Now you've come across terms like "elimination communication" or "baby pottying." Perhaps you haven't fully understood this practice yet; you have many doubts, but you're still curious about what "elimination communication" and "pottying" are all about?
Then you're probably asking yourself, among other things, the following questions:
- How does elimination communication work, and how do I properly hold my baby for pottying?
- How do I start with elimination communication?
- How do I practice elimination communication at night?
- Can I start elimination communication right after birth?
Many families start with a woolen elimination communication diaper because it makes elimination communication much easier in everyday life.
Even if this all sounds very scientific right now, we can reassure you right from the start. Elimination communication and pottying have a lot to do with intuition. And as we know, everyone possesses that. Of course, there are some things that make everyday elimination communication easier, and these are exactly what we're going to introduce to you here:

Here you'll find elimination communication clothing made from natural materials. The properties of wool make everyday elimination communication uncomplicated and low-effort.
Mata Origin Starter Set:
- 3 elimination communication diapers, baby size (1 for your baby, one in the wash, 1 for changing/on hand)
- 30 absorbent inserts (XKKO BIRDEYE 50x50 size S are the best. But you can also cut something yourself from old towels or bedding, or use half muslin cloths.)
- 1-2 elimination communication rompers for day/night
- 1-2 Cowboy elimination communication pants (from about 5 weeks, as core tension is still so low at the beginning - pottying with the onesie is simply easier then)
- 1 small Mata Origin elimination communication potty for home and on the go (from about 4-6 months, I also recommend the Easypisi elimination communication potty for home and at night)
- 1 Mata Origin wool blanket (you won't want to wrap your baby in anything else but this wool blanket!! - it will accompany you during sleep, carrying, breastfeeding, in the stroller, at night, on the go,...)
